“Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine.”
Rosenfield jokingly added that; “George is sedated and should recover in a few days.”
The twins are the first kids of George, 56, and Amal, 39. The Hollywood star got married to the international human rights lawyer in September 2014 in Venice.
Amal Clooney’s parents said they were delighted to welcome their grandchildren into the world and that everything is perfect. They also believe the couple will make good parents.
Much details were not immediately available. However, the Clooneys had been living in London while awaiting the arrival of their babies. They own a historic mansion just west of London in Berkshire.
While the news is still fresh, social media and the internet are already abuzz with congratulations.
Actress Nicole Kidman, speaking at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards in London, said: “Any time a baby is born, I’m like: ‘Ahhh’. So, two babies, it’s double ‘ahhh’. They have the most joyful journey ahead.”
