You Are Quick To Console Others While Herdsmen Slaughter Nigerians -FFK Slams Foreign Affairs Minister

Femi Fani-Kayode, on Sunday criticized Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, over his reaction to the London terror attack.

The Minister had tweeted:

Nigeria stands with the world against terrorism and extremism. Heartfelt condolences to the families of victims of London bridge attack.

Firing back, Fani-Kayode lamented that the Minister was consoling another country while Fulani herdsmen kill innocent Nigerians on a daily basis.

He tweeted:

U say Nigeria stands with the world against terrorism whilst ur govt. supports and protects Fulani militia terrorists in Nigeria.Shame on u!

“What London suffered yesterday is the barbarity that Nigerians suffer from BH and Fulani militias everyday. Stand firm and stand strong UK!

British Prime Minister, Theresa May has reacted to the attack, saying it’s “time to say enough is enough”

May said the people must “deprive the extremists of their safe spaces online” and that technology firms were not currently doing enough.

A French man is among those killed in last night’s attack, the foreign minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian, has confirmed. Seven people from France were injured in last night’s attack, four of them critically. One person is still missing.

There were multiple casualties in addition to the deaths, with London Ambulance Service saying at least 48 people have been taken to five hospitals in the capital. The NHS said on Sunday that 21 were in a critical condition.

Eight armed police officers fired an estimated 50 rounds in the incident – an unprecedented number for the UK. One member of the public was caught in the gunfire when a bullet struck a man in the head. A senior doctor at the Royal London hospital in east London said the man was expected to make a full recovery.
