SAPS Uncovers Mutilated Body Of Woman, Launch Manhunt For Suspects
The South African Police Service (SAPS) has discovered a mutilated body of another woman and, has launched a manhunt for the suspects who killed the middle-aged woman in a village outside Thohoyandou.
From our gatherings, the massive manhunt for the suspects was launched by the Limpopo Provincial Tracking Team in conjunction with the Crime Intelligence Unit.
The manhunt is led by the Deputy Provincial Commissioner of Detectives, Major General Bafana Linda. While Police investigations are still ongoing, it is suspected that the motive behind the incident is related to ritual killing.

According to SAPS, the mutilated body of the woman in her twenties was found by a passer-by in the bushes outside Maungani village. When they were informed, SAPS members approached the scene and uncovered a mutilated body of the unknown woman.
“The woman was wearing green leggings and it appears her body was dumped in the bushes outside Maungani Village.
“No arrest have been made as yet and anyone who can assist in the identification of the deceased and who can (provide) information about the suspects involved in this matter, is requested to contact Brigadier James Espach at 0825760743 or the nearest Police Station.
“(Alternatively, you can) contact Thohoyandou Police Station, Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or SMS detailed information to Crime Line at 32211,” SAPS implored.
Confirming this incident, the Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba related that it was a shocking, brutal and senseless crime.
The Commissioner urged members of the Thohoyandou community and surrounding areas to remain calm and give the Police space to fully investigate the crime.

Meanwhile, Chatsworth SAPS in KwaZulu-Natal has appealed to South Africans to help find a missing person, Farha Sulieman.
The 18-year-old lady was last seen by her family on the 7 June 2017 when she left her home in Woodhurst, Chatsworth.
“Farha Sulieman is 1.6m in height, approximately 64kgs and is light in complexion. She was last seen wearing grey long pants, black jacket with pink and white sandals.
“The reason for her disappearance is unknown. Anyone with the information about her whereabouts is urged to contact Warrant Officer Simeon of SAPS Chatsworth on 083 375 1901, or Crime Stop on 08600 10111,” SAPS begged.
