Tito Mboweni is a special hit single from the rapper’s chart topping third studio album Thuto. When he first released the song in March, Twitter went all kinds of crazy about it. Just about 20 minutes after the song was uploaded to iTunes, it quickly climbed the ladder to the top spot. The hit track dominated both the hip-hop and general singles chart, blowing away his rival AKA in the process.
In other words, Cassper lived up to his promise to fans that the single would be a number one hit. In addition to the song making it to the top spot on iTunes, it also became a major talking point on Twitter.
Notwithstanding, some people still thought the track wasn’t that good and even anticipated a whack music video for it. However, when Tito Mboweni music video dropped, it literally shut down the speculation that it would be a waste of time and money. The music video became a hit with fans. In fact, within a few days of its release, a milestone was already being celebrated. The video had reached 600 000 views on YouTube just four days after dropping.
